The AS2D joint venture, created by Arkéa Sécurité, a subsidiary of the Crédit Mutuel Arkéa group dedicated to connected services, and Delta Dore, a major player in the connected home market, entered into exclusive negotiations with the company Creative Specific Software (C2S) in with a view to acquiring a majority stake in the company’s capital.
This merger is part of the continuity of the close relations initiated several years ago between AS2D and C2S, and allows AS2D to enrich its offer with this innovative solution developed for seniors. In 2030, nearly one in three inhabitants will be over 60 years old in France, against one in five in 2005. Faced with this profound change in our society, the challenges are major for medico-social establishments and welcoming living spaces. seniors who will have to adapt quickly, by relying on technological innovations.
Founded in 2012 by Ramzi Larbi, the Creative Specific Software company designs and distributes a patented fall detection solution for the elderly and dependent people called VA²CS. By relying on artificial intelligence, this solution makes it possible to detect and analyze falls, loss of consciousness, nocturnal awakenings, in all places of life: at home or in specialized establishments (senior residences, nursing homes, etc.). It can be integrated into home automation devices such as automatic lighting when getting out of bed or unlocking a door in the event of a fall.
The two companies have indeed contributed to the development of Félicie Smart Home, a unique connected housing service specifically developed for Senioriales residences, a subsidiary of the Pierre & Vacances-Center Parcs group, in order to guarantee independence, comfort, and safety for seniors as well as to their families.
