Pytheas Technology & Resolute Marine won the concept stage of the US Department of Energy Waves to Water Prize.

Sometimes, it is not necessary to be in the U.S to start doing business with large institutions & close promising deals. Isn’t it Vincent ?

Our friends from Pytheas Technology with their U.S. partner Resolute Marine have developed a desalination system powered by a wave energy converter.

The system, called WaveWaterTM, is a unique combination of wave energy and desalination technologies. They have been awarded the Waves to Water prize by the US Department of Energy.
The Water Power Technologies Office at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has launched this new prize, aligned with the recently announced Water Security Grand Challenge. It’s a 4-Stage competition that offers up to $2.5 million in cash prizes, with a goal to demonstrate small, modular, cost-competitive desalination systems that use the power of ocean waves to provide clean drinking water for disaster recovery and for remote and coastal communities.

Fingers crossed!

We are very much looking forward to hearing news from you, hoping the final prize will be yours
